I also got to show my New Beagle puppy Tonto at the last shows and we
got a Reserve winners dog from Puppy Class. We will have pictures
up as soon as we can get them. This is a picture of the first Match I showed
him in.

That I got to attend. The first shot is of my first Beagle when
I decided that I wanted one. His Name is Ch. RD's Marching On
The very first AKC shows I got to go to and be in were in Lubbock,
Tx. and was a four day show for their 50th Anniversary, I got all three
of my Novice Junior wins at those shows. I was honored to get to be a part
of their formal evening show for the Best Junior Competition under Judge
Anne Clark whom I had watched on TV at Westminister!!
Even though I didn't win I was very impressed. The only bad part was
we did not get any pictures of that night!!! I was showing Dobbs
Geronimo L.

He hasn't finished for his Ch. cause he took out two years while he
trained all three of us. We got to calling him a robot, cause he loved
to show and helped teach us how to show a Chihuahua. Also he never
was the least bit nervous in the ring no matter what other size dogs were
in there with him which made it a lot easier for us to show. We each
trained a pup of our choosing of Grannies to show, but due to incidents
one by one we each ended up showing her Jerky in classes, It became a joke
that he was only allowed to get us through our first three novice wins
then he went to the next one in line!!! He is a true showman.
I even got to take my Dad's Lab to classes and put a CGC on her last
summer, I have always enjoyed showing to help other people out and love
to be able to help and to get to take them in the ring, I am very involved
with all of the dog show scene and love the challenge.
If you see me at a show be sure and say "Hi", I'll be the one with the
big warm smile cause I'll be where I really enjoy being.
I helped the Breeder of my beagle pup show her beagles at the Rio Pecos
show and was so happy when I was able to beat her and her Specials Male
with one of her girls. She even let me take her into the Group Ring
too.
